REMINDER: Handgun Shooting Seminar 4/20/19
REMINDER! A free handgun shooting seminar is scheduled for Saturday, 4/20/2019. Club members, their family, and their friends are invited to participate. The classroom session will start at 10:00 am and will last 1 to 1.5 hours. Supervised range time is scheduled afterwards to apply principles addressed in the classroom. The pistol ranges will be closed until the seminar is finished at approximately 3:00 pm. PISTOL MATCH – SATURDAY, MARCH 2ND, 2019 at 10:00 AM
Remember that you must be present at SAFETY BRIEFING (10:00 AM SHARP) to be eligible to shoot the match.
PISTOL RANGE CLOSES AT 9:00 AM to allow setup.
Bring at least 150 rounds of ammo.
Usually finished in 3 hrs.
Open to members and their friends.
Note to ALL SHOOTERS: must have eye and ear protection on range and EMPTY weapon is in a case, pistol pouch or gun rug and is never presented until safety officer in your squad gives you range command to load and make ready.
These are fun matches for our members and their friends.

5TH Stage optional, free to match competitors and score does not count in match. We do this for fun and to expose our shooters to other shooting formats. Bring your centerfire handgun and your holster & mag carriers if you have them.
We will take entries for 2nd gun up to 20 entries. New Rimfire rifle divisions were very popular last month.

Ammunition Restrictions
It was recently discovered that armor piercing ammunition damaged several steel rifle targets, which will require repair or replacement. All shooters are reminded to comply with the following ammunition restrictions:
- NO armor piercing ammunition.
- NO tracer ammunition.
- NO rifle caliber ammunition on the pistol range.
Examples of appropriate ammunition for handguns on the pistol range include .22 LR, 9mm, .38 Special, .357 Magnum, .357 SIG, .40 S&W, 10mm and .45 ACP. Pistol caliber carbines (PCC) are also allowed on the pistol range but limited to 9mm, 40 S&W, 10mm, and .45 ACP calibers.
Rifle caliber ammunition CANNOT be fired on the pistol range. Examples of rifle caliber ammunition include but are not limited to .223 Remington, 5.45x39mm, 5.56x45mm NATO, 6.5 mm Creedmoor, 7.62x39mm, .308 Winchester, 7.62x51mm NATO, etc.
Please remember that we have an active video system 24 hours a day. Failure to adhere to our range rules can result in restricted range privileges or loss of membership.
These restrictions are in place for the safety of members and guests and to prevent target damage. Please contact a Club Officer or Board Member for any questions.
