HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER
Non-members are always welcome for the Friday night trap shoots.

TO BECOME A MEMBERcomplete the application and mail it with your dues to the address provided. The fee includes Club membership for one person, his/her spouse, and children up to age 21, for the calendar year of January 1 to December 31. There are no partial year memberships available, so any memberships started during the year will expire on the next December 31. The dues are the same for an individual membership. Members are also required to read and follow the Range Rules. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us

RENEWING MEMBERS must also complete the application to ensure we have accurate information on file. The application and dues must be received by March 31. Any dues received from a previous year's member on or after April 1 will incur a $10 late fee.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR MEMBERS:

  • MEMBERS: Except for certain public events, our property is open only to members of the Montgomery County Fish and Game Club, Inc. All members, Officers and Board Members pay equal dues and are equal members, so we each have an equal investment in our property and facilities. We have all invested dues and hard work so that we have a great place to shoot; therefore, we each have an equal responsibility to protect our property.

  • GUESTS: Members are encouraged to host as many guests as desired, but only once each. After that, the guest should join if (s)he would like to continue using our facilities.

  • STRANGERS: Members should introduce ourselves to anyone on our property, and to ask for a current membership card. If the stranger is unable to prove membership, drop the subject and do not put yourself in danger, but please note their name, vehicle make and model, and license plate number if you feel comfortable doing so. Contact an Officer or Board Member as soon as possible and we'll take it from there.

  • VANDALS: If you notice anyone acting recklessly with firearms, damaging our property, or damage that has already been done, please leave immediately and contact an Officer or Board Member, or even the Montgomery County Sheriff at 859-498-8704. Again, never put yourself in danger, but collect as much information as you can.

  • GATE: Get in the habit of locking the gate at all times. If you close the gate as you enter the property, anyone entering afterwards will have to know the gate code, so it's a good bet they're a member. Always close and lock the gate as you leave, even if others are still using the range. Again, even though the lock can be a pain, you're protecting the property we all pay for. IMPORTANT: Never give the gate code to ANYONE; an Officer or Board Member will provide the code once the membership process is complete.

  • RANGES: The pistol range is for pistols only, the rifle range for rifles only, the bow range and archery targets are for bows only. Using a weapon on the wrong range damages the targets, using funds that could be used for another project. If you notice anyone using the wrong range, please nicely educate them on where to shoot; with the recent improvements, they may not realize they should be using a different range. Again, contact an Officer or Board Member if necessary.

  • TARGETS: Please ensure that you pin your targets IN BETWEEN the wood braces. Never shoot the wood braces. Again, replacing them takes money away from other projects.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP IN PROTECTING OUR RANGE!
