ABOUT US

Montgomery County Fish and Game Club, Inc., is a non-profit organization that strives to support a variety of shooting sports enjoyed by outdoor enthusiasts. Founded in 1977 by sportsmen who wanted a place for hunters and fishermen to meet and socialize, the Club provides facilities for handguns, rifles, trap shooting, and archery. Members maintain the facility and assist with Club events.

Members enjoy access to a rifle range with safety berm and six covered support tables, a pistol and small rimfire range, and an archery range to line up bows and crossbows. The rifle range has target supports at 50, 100 and 200 yards; the pistol range at 10,20 and 30 yards; and the archery range at 10, 20, 30 and 40 yards. Our heated and air-conditioned 1200-foot club house includes restrooms and a full kitchen. (photos coming soon)

Non-members are always welcome for the Friday night public trap shoots.

Club History

When the Club was founded in 1977, it had a trap shoot and club house on Orear Road, where the Gateway Services (now Rumpke) landfill is located. Mr. Rumpke generously donated 3.5 acres to the Club and also leases 5 additional acres to it annually. In 2002, the Club added rifle and pistol ranges, and in 2008 added an archery range. The Old Nest Egg Road entrance was added in 2008. There are currently 130 members of the Montgomery County Fish and Game Club.
